The Faculty of Sports Sciences at Istanbul Gelişim University (IGU) successfully completed the 2025 ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 10002:2018 audits. The quality certificates, obtained in 2019, were valid once again in this year’s audit, just like in previous years.

Quality Process Successfully Maintained

Istanbul Gelişim University’s Faculty of Sports Sciences passed the 2025 external audit conducted under the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and ISO 10002:2018 Customer Satisfaction Management System, which document the quality of education and student satisfaction. The faculty has continued to maintain these certificates obtained in 2019 through annual audits.

The audit process was conducted with the participation of Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Kubilay Çimen, Vice Dean Dr. Okan Kılıçkaya, Unit Quality Representative Instructor Tekmil Sezen Soyal, and 4th-year Sports Management student İrem Güvenoğlu.

Commitment to Continuous Improvement

The work carried out within the quality management systems demonstrated that the faculty operates with a transparent, traceable, and student-focused approach in both academic and administrative processes. These efforts reinforced the university’s commitment to continuous improvement and development.
