The Senior Individual Turkish Weightlifting Championship, held at the Ali Yücel Sports Hall in Tokat from January 27 to February 1, was the stage for significant achievements by students from the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Istanbul Gelişim University.
Our students from the Department of Sports Management successfully represented our university with the rankings they achieved in various weight categories:
🏋️♀️ 58 kg – Rahime Köç → 2nd place in Turkey
🏋️♀️ 53 kg – Burcu Alıcı → 1st place in Turkey
🏋️♀️ 53 kg – Duygu Alıcı → 3rd place in Turkey
These achievements by our students serve as a concrete demonstration of the importance our Faculty of Sports Sciences places on sports and athletes.
