Erasmus+ Sports Grants cover non-profit sports activities carried out through partnerships in the field of sports. Partnership projects under Erasmus+ Sports include Cooperation Partnerships and Small-Scale Partnerships. Partnerships in the field of sports are supported in line with the following priorities: • Promoting healthy lifestyles for all: • Promoting integrity and values in sports: • Promoting education in and through sports: • Combating violence in sports and fighting racism, discrimination, and intolerance. Non-profit sports activities under Erasmus+ Sports are supported in line with the following priorities: • Volunteering in sports; • Social inclusion through sports; • Combating discrimination in sports, including gender equality; • Promoting participation in sports and physical activity. Who is the target audience for the project?

 

The target audience for Erasmus+ Sports Grants includes, first and foremost, institutions and organizations engaged in sports-related activities, as well as any institution or organization aiming to promote sports, physical activity, and a healthy lifestyle. This also includes target groups that form the professional dimension of sports, such as athletes, sports coaches, and instructors.

 

Who can apply?

 

Public institutions responsible for sports at the local, regional, and national levels; sports organizations at the local, regional, national, and international levels; National Olympic Committees; sports federations; organizations representing the “Sport for All” movement; institutions active in promoting physical activity; institutions active in the fields of education, teaching, and youth; sports clubs; municipalities; and others. All legal entities active in the field of sports may apply.

 

What is the project duration?

 

Project durations may vary depending on the type of activity included in the Erasmus+ Sports Support program. You can find information on the technical details of the activities in the Erasmus+ Program Guide.

 

 

 

1- Small-Scale Partnerships in Sports: Between 6 and 24 months

 

2- Cooperation Partnerships in the Field of Sports: Between 12 and 36 months

 

3- Capacity Building in Sports: 1 year, 2 years, or 3 years

 

4- Non-Profit European Sports Events: For each of the four projects under this category, the project duration may range from 12 to 18 months.

 

What are the grant categories?

 

Under the Erasmus+ Sports Grants, grant requests are determined on a lump-sum basis according to pre-set rates based on the type of activity for which the application is submitted. The budget options available for each activity are listed in the Erasmus+ Program Guide.

 

 

 

1-Small-Scale Partnerships in the Field of Sports: 30,000 euros or 60,000 euros

 

2-Cooperation Partnerships in the Field of Sports: 120,000, 250,000, or 400,000 euros

 

3-Capacity Building in Sports: Between 100,000 and 200,000 euros

 

4-Non-Profit European Sports Events: Under this project category, there are four projects, each with a different grant amount. The grants for these projects are as follows:

 

European Local Event (Type 1): 200,000 euros

European Local Event (Type 2): 300,000 euros

European-Wide Event: 450,000 euros

Large-Scale European Event: Between 1 million and 2 million euros

How do I complete the pre-application registration process?

 

Project applications are submitted directly to the European Education and Culture Executive Agency in Brussels. The applicant organization must register in the ECAS system and have a 9-digit PIC number.
